We are located only 30 minutes from Perth on the Swan River with access from Reid Highway.
Our camp houses are guaranteed to be ready by 3pm on the day of your arrival. If you are planning to arrive earlier, we can store your luggage until the camp house is ready. To ensure we can get the camp house ready for the next group, we kindly ask that you vacate the house by 9am on the day of your departure. If you are leaving late in the day, we can store your luggage until then.
No, if you have provided us with a bedding plan, we will make up all the beds for you. We provide all the linen, pillows, comforters, etc., but you will need to bring your own towel. This means when you arrive, you can drop your gear and get straight to the fun stuff!
It depends on how long you stay and if you are taking part in our activities. We have a Centre Guide located on our website under the Resources tab to help you, or you can give us a call, and we will be happy to guide you.
We can look after all your meals from breakfast through to lunch and dinner including supper.
Sorry, but our houses are not equipped for self-catering. There are limited facilities in each house allowing you to make snacks, tea, or coffee, etc.
As long as we are made aware of any medical or dietary conditions prior to your arrival, we can organise alternatives for the individuals. We don’t mind if you just don’t like certain food items; it’s just a matter of not choosing them on the day. There are plenty of options to choose from, so we don’t need to cater separately for these.
Not necessarily, as we have our Adventure Centre plus camp accommodation for 300 people. If you do require exclusivity, we may be able to arrange that for you, but additional costs will apply.
Of course, we can. Check out our Activities page which shows all the activities available, then contact us and our staff can help you organise a programme of activities to suit your group and your budget.
All our official activities are supervised by SVAC Instructors who have appropriate qualifications, Police Clearances, and Working with Children checks. If you wish to run your own activities outside the SVAC ones, e.g., ball games on the oval, we will require you to provide your own Public Liability Insurance and supervise the activity yourselves. If you would like another company to run an activity, e.g., Inflatable Sumo suits, then the activity has to be preapproved by SVAC management. The company running the activity is also required to provide SVAC management with their Insurance Certificate of Currency for that activity prior to the activity being approved.
We have lots of wooded areas around the property with native flora and fauna. There is also Jane Brook and the Swan River for you to walk around. If you want to use any of the public areas around the site for group meetings or activities, please let us know, and we can book the area for you. We don’t want you to be disappointed if someone else is using it.
Of course. Our Public Liability Insurance document is located on our Resources page for download.
All of our activities can be run in wet weather. However, if there is a threat of lightning or thunderstorms, then we can provide alternative activities until the weather improves. Some of our activities are more fun if it’s wet!
Yes, these are available on our website to download from our Resources page.
Our office is open from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. We will provide the group supervisor with the phone number of our onsite Duty Manager, in case of an emergency.
